Position:  Product Specialist

Location:  Anywhere in US

The Product Specialist provides pre and post-sale technical support by delivering product presentations and demonstrations, conducting product training; identifying and resolving application or environmental issues. This position requires extensive travel domestic and/or international.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Work with the sales team on customer demonstrations.
• Provide on site customer support during a live broadcast event.
• Instruct basic, advanced and specialized training on Chyron products.
• Assist Technical Support Engineers in solving software issues.

Skills and Experience: The candidate must have at least 2 years knowledge and experience operating Chyron Products.

Position:  Technical Support Engineer

Location:  Melville

The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to a variety of Chyron products over the telephone. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.

Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience. As well as a demonstrated ability to creatively diagnose and solve complex problems involving software, end users and hardware. He/she will identify and document product issues, enhancements, and requests in the appropriate tracking system.

• Knowledge/experience working with Windows XP, 2000 and NT operating systems and computer hardware
• Familiarity with Windows Vista
• Able to use troubleshooting tools
• Networking skills
• Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office and knowledge of Photoshop is a plus
• Willing to travel
• Ability to speak multiple languages a plus
• Video experience a plus
• Able to work flexible hours

Position: Software Engineer

Location: Melville

Chyron is looking for Software Engineer to help join its development team.  The Software Engineer will be involved in the development and maintenance of realtime graphics applications for the television broadcast industry.

Ideal Candidate Skills:  The candidate must have strong skills Object Oriented Programming using C# and C++. Experience with SQL and SQL server, ActiveX, .NET, TCP/IP, HTTP, and XML are essential. BS in Computer Science is also required.
