Chyron Products at BroadcastAsia2012:
BlueNet™ Graphics Creation and Playout
Chyron will demonstrate BlueNet™, a comprehensive solution that fully addresses broadcasters’ requirements for streamlined end-to-end graphics workflows. BlueNet leverages Chyron’s acclaimed suite of graphics tools for ordering and graphics asset management, collaborative graphics creation, and real-time playout. Integration with Axis World Graphics, Chyron’s cutting-edge cloud-based services offering, extends the power of BlueNet workflows to speed even the most advanced graphics to air.
In fast-paced news or sports workflows that require many complex graphics, BlueNet minimizes the cycle time from creation to air. Order management tools allow producer-driven content to move smoothly into a rundown, and easily accessible templates enable instant and efficient collaboration in preparing graphics.
Axis World Graphics
Also on display at BroadcastAsia2012 will be Chyron's Axis World Graphics, the world’s only cloud-based graphics creation system designed specifically for broadcasters. Axis World Graphics simplifies, streamlines, and facilitates the graphics creation process, enabling artists, reporters, production assistants, and news producers to create broadcast-quality graphics using their own graphics packages. Axis World Graphics combines award-winning technology and functionality, proven integration, and point-and-click customization. Several new features have recently been introduced to the system, including fully integrated electronic order management, asset management, and integrations with Apple® Final Cut Pro® and Adobe® Premiere® Pro video editing, all of which are designed for ease of use and maximum workflow efficiency.
Channel Box² (v.4.6) Branding and Promo System
Chyron will showcase its Channel Box² (v.4.6), channel branding system that features 2D/3D design with a complete data acquisition toolset for all branding applications. Built on Chyron’s Lyric® technology, Channel Box² allows users to access any data — RSS feeds, traffic, financial, weather, elections, tickers, promos, snipes, social media, and more — and publish it on the air anywhere, anytime.
Channel Box² (v.4.6) software boasts an asset viewer that allows an operator to validate, package, and query assets, as well as data binding tools for improved panel control. Additional features include locking scenes and copy/paste/reverse functionality, all of which can be coupled with a scene list that allows groups of scenes to be created and stylized.
This software-based multi-user application enables social media conversations to be monitored, selected, and routed to broadcast graphics systems for on-air playback. First introduced at the 2012 NAB Show, SHOUT allows an operator to monitor and select incoming Tweets quickly, displaying the Tweets on the air using any Chyron Lyric-based graphics system, including Channel Box. Ideal for news, sports, and entertainment markets, this solution helps broadcasters optimize today’s increasingly popular Twitter outlet and encourages interaction with viewers.
