AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGE APPROVES CHYRON LISTING
Melville, NY - October 1, 2007: Chyron Corporation (OTC BB: CYRO), a leading developer of hardware and software products for broadcast graphics and digital information displays, announced today that it has received approval from the American Stock Exchange for a listing of its shares of common stock. Effective with the start of trading on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, the Company's common stock will begin trading on the American Stock Exchange. The Company's new trading symbol will be CGS.
Michael Wellesley-Wesley, President and CEO said, "We are pleased to have received approval for listing on the American Stock Exchange. We believe listing on the American Stock Exchange will offer greater visibility within the investment community and should improve the liquidity of our trading."
This approval is contingent upon the Company being in compliance with all the applicable listing standards on the date it begins trading on the Exchange, and may be rescinded if the Company is not in compliance with such standards.
