CABSAT, Dubai - March 4, 2008: Chyron (AMEX: CGS) today announced that major international sports broadcaster Taj TV, headquartered in Dubai, has installed a CodiStrator live telestrator on its broadcasts of The Football Channel, which is beamed into Asia.  The system was supplied by Middle East systems integrator, TekSignals. 

CodiStrator, which went on-air in November 2007, provides Taj TV with sophisticated, live illustration to describe and review game play for the English Premier League (EPL) Football matches broadcast on Taj TV channels across the region.  The telestrator adds excitement ans interest to matches, bringing enhanced interaction for viewers.  Using a touch screen, tablet, or even a mouse, on-air TEN Sports presenters can illustrate and spotlight the action.

Packing a powerful set of real-time illustration tools, CodiStrator features free-hand brushes, lines and curves with and without arrows, circles, bullets with text, static and animated stickers, spotlights, stills, backgrounds and more for complete flexibility and control.  Drawing tools can be set for colour, width, drop-shadow and transparency, creating a unique look and making it easy to identify teams.  The touch screen overlay is customisable to fit the needs of the presenter.
