Melville, NY - November 14, 2007: Chyron Corporation (AMEX: CGS) has today announcing that WCAX-TV, one of America's last family-owned television stations, has installed a Chyron HyperX^® HD/SD-switchable graphics system driven by the company's breakthrough interFuse technology, Lyric^® PRO software and a CAMIO newsroom and Media Management system. 

WCAX-TV, known on air as Channel 3, is the CBS-affiliated station for the state of Vermont and upstate New York.  Primarily a news-based station, WCAX-TV will utilize the outstanding speed and power of the HyperX running Lyric PRO for lower thirds, full-screen and over-the-shoulder graphics in demanding live news environments, for the station's analog, digital and web channels.

LUCI, CAMIO's Newsroom Client ActiveX^®, enables WCAX-TV journalists to remotely browse templates, edit text, replace images and movie files, preview their graphics and insert them into stories directly from the station's ENPS^® newsroom system.
