Easily link and display external data to Channel Box or Lyric messages. 

Data Tools is a collection of standalone applications which allow you to retrieve data from multiple data sources and convert the data to text files. This process allows you to easily link your data to a Channel Box or Lyric message.

For more information about these applications, please refer to the Channel Box 4.5 Users Guide, which can be found via the Product Information section on the right side of this web page. The Data Tools Installer can be downloaded from this location, too.

Chyron Data Tools include:  

AP Wire feed: Retrieve Associated Press® wire information from newsclip.ap.org and save the data to a text file (NOTE: Users must have a valid AP account.)
 

Database Feed: Convert database fields to a text file.
 

iNews Story Getter: Connect to Avid® iNews FTP server, retrieve story information and save it to a text file.
 

RSS Feed: Connect to RSS feeds and save the information to a text file.
 

Text File Combiner: Combine multiple text files into a single text file. 
 

Weather Feed: Retrieve weather data from the Web and save the information to a text file (US Only).
